Ce bon vieux Flash fait son come back en début d’année 2009. The Bridge: Concept Of A Culture est le tout nouvel album d’un des trois piliers hip-hop, aux côté de Herc et Bambaataa. Un retour attendu, à la vue du tracklisting, aussi : Busta Rhymes, Grand Master Caz, KRS-One, Q-Tip, Big Daddy Kane, Snoop Dogg, entre autres.
Dix ans après sa dernière sortie, vingt ans après On The Strength chez Elektra, Grand Master Flash, pionnier du scratch et des parties du Bronx, « concurrent » de Bam et Herc pendant un temps, pourfendeur hip-hop avec sa suite, The Furious 5, Flash revient en février (date non précisée) avec un tout nouvel LP, The Bridge: Concept Of A Culture, qui sortira sur les cool cats de Strut.
